This beautiful 2 Oz Silver Coin is the first issue in the new "The Shield" series and represents the mythological shield of the Olympian goddess of wisdom and war: Athena. The coin has an incredible High Relief, is Copper Plated, has an Antique Finish quality and comes in a case, along with the Certificate of Authenticity. Limited mintage of 500 pieces only!
 
The reverse of the coin is a reproduction of the mythical shield of Athena, the goddess of wisdom and war. According to the myth, the shield had the head of a Gorgon and made a terrible roaring sound during the battle. On the reverse, the inscription: "The Shield of Athena" - the name of the coin. The obverse of the coin depicts the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions: "NIUE ISLAND" - the country of issue, "2022" - the year of issue, "ELIZABETH II" - the name of the Queen and "FIVE DOLLARS" - the face value.
